It is very hard to take out the time in a busy schedule. But on my best friend’s insistence I decided to take out a day for a latest SPS treatment that she has been raving about. Pink Salt has been the new sensation in her life for the past couple of weeks and she has been very persuasive that I should try it as well. Since I was a direct witness of positive Pink salt effects on her life, s o I decided to give it a try.

The foot massage was relaxing feat, the minerals inside the salt gets soaked through skin pores and penetrate deep for health and wellness. Combining pink salt with moisturizer and scrubbing onto dead skin proved beneficial as it removed dead skin, diminished scarring with repetitive use and also softens the hard skin on foot heels. Rustic Peach Pie with Himalayan Salt

How-To
The below is the step-by-step guide to making this delicious recipe:
1. Before you make the crust, you should freeze the processor bowl & blade. After it is ready, you should add the solidified coconut oil, flour, a sprinkling of Himalayan pink salt and pulse.
2. Now, you should add the water TB by TB until the time you see it has developed clumpy dough pulse by pulse.
3. If you want to do it quickly, then you can spoon the dough into a small springform tart pan, and then press it into the pan and make the crust by molding it in using your fingers and place it in the freezer.
4. After that, you should score 2 peaches with a cross “X” shape and drop them in the boiling water for approximately one minute.
5. Take out the peaches and peel them. Remember, they will easily slip off, but you don’t need to worry about it because, with skin, it means more fiber.
6. Now, cut the peaches and mix them with the tapioca starch, maple syrup, healthy dose of the cinnamon and a splash of the vanilla extract. After mixing them, let it be in the fridge for approximately half an hour.
7. After 30 minutes, take the mixture out of the fridge and pour filling into the crust. You should sprinkle the remaining dough crumbs on crumble’s top.
8. You can also sprinkle the coconut sugar (the pure coconut crystals) on crumble’s top, however, it is optional. After that, place the pie in an oven and set it to about 425F and bring down the heat to 375F just after. After 15 minutes of time, see if the crumble is looking golden. It can be done within 15-20 minutes, so watch it out.

Chef Ren Mercer Cooking recipes with Himalayan Salt

1. When you have decided that you are going to cook like Ren Mercer using a Himalayan salt block, then the first thing you need is a 1-inch thick Himalayan salt block. If you can find the one that is 1.5 inches or more, then it would be a better choice.
2. Now, either you will be using a gas range or an electric range. If you have the gas range, then you should put your Himalayan salt block on a stove top, do not use the oven, and set the heat to minimum and heat it for approximately 15 minutes. During this time, you might see the moisture accumulating on the edges of the salt block. This is because that salt evaporates water when heated, so you should heat it slowly.

5. When you have finished cooking your meal on the salt block, then let it cool down completely to the room temperature. This can take 4 to 5 hours and it might level the room temperature tomorrow, so be patient. When it is cool, now you should rinse it using the warm water. Heat the plate slowly

The first step towards a successful recipe using a salt made block is to start heating the block slowly because if you heat it strongly, then there is a chance that the salt block will break and the cooking process will be stopped at the spot. So, be careful and heat your salt block slowly. Another reason why you should heat it slowly is that if you heat it quickly, then the recipe will get saltier and the taste of the meal will be affected.
You should start the cooking process right when the temperature of your salt block reaches to 500 F. This is the ideal temperature to start cooking your favorite stuff on it. Keep on cooking until you feel that the meal is ready and after that, do not touch the salt block and bring down the meal carefully.
Cleaning the salt blocks
